Since we don't get any new pictures, I will just have to post old ones. Here are a couple more from our ultrasound at 26 1/2 weeks. I love her little mouth!

12 weeks, 2 days in 4D!

We just came from our Nuchal Translucency Screening and everything is looking a-okay! The baby has two arms, two legs and ten fingers (we were not able to count the toes!) The tech measured the foot and it is only 1 centimeter! We got to see the baby in 2D, 3D and 4D, hear the heartbeat and see the blood flowing from the umbilical cord to the heart. We also got to see it's little brain and spine. We got to see it's face in 4D but it kinda looks like an alien. The technician tried to figure out the gender but he said at this point it's just too early to tell. We can go back in 3 weeks to find out for sure if we want to. It was a pretty crazy experience, to say the least!! We got a movie of the whole thing but we have to figure out how to format it to post on the blog.

11 weeks, 6 days

Here is our cutie pie! This thing was moving around like crazy today and I got it all on video! (but I left my camera cord at work so you have to wait until tomorrow) Doc maintains the "girl" prediction. We'll see. We're told that if the baby is in exactly the right spot we can find out with more certainty on Friday at our nuchal translucency screening. Okay baby, cooperate!

Mom is finally feeling good again! WOOHOO! Lost 5 pounds but clothes are starting to get tight. One more week and we get to tell everyone!

How far along? 11 weeks, 2 days
Total weight gain: still missing 5 pounds
Maternity clothes? No, but soon I think
Sleep: Pretty terrible
Best/Worst meal of the week: Slurpee and Cool Ranch Doritos...for breakfast!
Best moment this week: When someone that didn't know I was pregnant told me "Wow, you look really good! Have you lost weight, changed your hair, what's different?" ::grin::
Worst moment: the randomly paralyzing sciatic nerve pain
Movement: none yet
Gender: Doc said it was a boy. Then she thought it was a girl. So we are right back where we started
Labor Signs: None.
Belly Button in or out? In.
What I miss: energy
What I am looking forward to: second trimester!!
Milestone: The nausea is gone (I hope!!!)
Next appointment: Two on Tuesday!

10 weeks, 1 day

Best appointment yet! During today's ultrasound we were able to see the baby moving around all over the place and hiccup! "It" was very active today! So cute!! Doc says she thinks it's a boy. She saw what she thinks is a penis (but it could also be the umbilical cord). She has been doing this a long time though, so there may be one more Bergin man in the world soon!

This is where she thinks she sees a penis. See the sideways "W" looking shape on the right? Well the outside parts are legs and the little bump in the middle is what doc called the man parts!

Baby Bergin--9 weeks along!

Our little baby is 9 weeks old today! We went to the doctor for another ultrasound and it is measuring exactly where it should be. We saw the very strong heartbeat and got to see the baby move for the first time! It was sleeping, so the doc had to wake it up by poking me in the belly. She said it's not a good sign that we have a day sleeper! Nonetheless, we got to see it wiggle it's little arms and legs! (I think it said, "Leave me alone, I'm sleeping!") This weeks picture isn't the best. The baby was facing us, so it just looks like a blob. The head is up on the right. Since we are making good progress, the doc didn't need to take blood this week, which was nice. I am still giving myself daily shots and hope to start weening myself off of them in about 3 weeks. Next appointment Sep 10.

Just about 7 weeks old...

Baby at almost 7 weeks! Doc says everything is looking good!
If you look very closely, you can see where the arms and legs are starting to form.

Bailey's ready for baby!
